Updated: 05/14/2013 - I'm still focused on meeting my goal of doing a pull-up. And I'm almost there! But I'm always getting this question:
A community-wide memorial service for Jessica Ridgeway is planned for Tuesday night.
The service is set for 7 p.m. at Faith Bible Chapel at 62nd and Ward in Arvada.
Family members told CBS4 the memorial will be a celebration of Ridgeway’s life. They say that’s what she would have wanted. They are asking anyone who attends the service to wear purple, which was Jessica's favorite color.
“She lived her life the way we should, one day at a time, smiling as many moments as possible,” Ridgeway’s cousin Nicholas Pesavento said. “I’d like to make sure that that still happens.”
10-year-old Jessica disappeared on her way to school in Westmimster on October 5th. Her body was found in a field in Arvada on October 11th.
Investigators are working to find her killer and say tips are coming in from all over the country. The Westminster Police Ridgeway Case Tip Line is (303) 658-4336.
