After a mild Saturday, temperatures to finish the weekend will be MUCH colder! A system to our west pushes into SE Colorado overnight. Snow showers will be possible by early Sunday morning across the I-25 corridor with a change to rain and snow showers through the afternoon. Accumulation should be minimal as most moisture looks to be light and temperatures will warm into the upper 30s and 40s through the afternoon. The main impact will be the cold along with winds gusting up to 40 mph at times. Click on the 'Weather' tab for more...
Police say three men in masks broke into a local woman's home and one of them sexually assaulted her.
The assault happened at around 7 a.m. Friday at an apartment on Monterey near Circle in the southeast part of Colorado Springs.
Three men broke into the woman's apartment. They ransacked her home, and one of them sexually assaulted her before they all took off.
Some neighbors said they had no clue anything had happened, while others told us about the heavy police presence earlier in the day.
There isn't much of a description of the men. They all had masks and wore black. One of them was short, about 5 feet 3 inches tall.
If you know anything about the break-in and assault, call Crime Stoppers at 634-STOP. You don't have to give your name.
