City Councilors in Manitou Springs voted no Tuesday night on a complete ban of selling recreational pot.
They also voted to suspect processing application for marijuana sales until the end of the year. These were both initial votes and they'll vote again next month.
"I think we should ease into this...let people get used to it," one councilor told 11 News.
Several cities in Southern Colorado have opted out of marijuana sales like Colorado Springs and Monument. Pueblo has put a hold on their vote.
