He's accused of murdering the man he thought was his wife's lover, then trying to kill her attorney and a judge.
Bruce Nozolino will be in court Friday. This is rescheduled a month ago, when he was expected in court to enter a plea. Winter weather on February 3 prevented the judge from getting to Colorado Springs, canceling the appearance.
Nozolino is charged with the 2008 murder of Richard Schreiner, the man who, according to court documents, was allegedly having an affair with Nozolino's wife, causing the pair to divorce in 2002.
In addition, Nozolino has been accused of attempted first degree murder for shooting his ex-wife’s divorce attorney, John Ciccolella in 2002. Ciccolella was hired by Nozolino's wife to handle the divorce. He was in his office on January 23, 2002 when he was shot in the head. He lost his right eye but survived the shooting.
