Arrest Made In Bar Stabbing

Officers have made an arrest in a stabbing at a Colorado Springs pub.

Rick Thifault, 40, was arrested on charges of first-degree assault with a deadly weapon for the July 26 incident.

Police were called out to the Robin Hood Pub on North Nevada in Colorado Springs early that morning for a disturbance involving a man who was bleeding.

When they arrived, they found a man in the parking lot who had been stabbed multiple times in the chest. He was rushed to the hospital and after surgery was said to be in stable condition. He is expected to survive his injuries.

At last report, officers were still trying to determine what led up to the stabbing.
