The Weld County District Attorney's Office has identified 31-year-old Raymond Eugene Garcia as the man Greeley police shot and killed during a prostitution sting operation.
Greeley police say they were working undercover prostitution cases on Wednesday when Garcia showed up as a customer of an undercover female officer and brandished a handgun.
Greeley police say Garcia was shot and killed when they tried to arrest him.
The Greeley Tribune reports that no police officers were injured.
The Weld County District Attorney's Office and the Greeley Police Department's Investigations and Professional Standards Unit are investigating.
