Updated: 7:06 PM - We did a quick helicopter tour of the Black Forest burn area. Someone asked why the video looks shaky.
A teen has died from injuries sustained after being hit by a car Tuesday night.
Police tell 11 News the 19-year-old was trying to cross the street at the intersection of Academy and Maizeland when the car hit him. Police say the car had a green light.
Speed and alcohol do not appear to be a factor.
The victim has been identified as Derick Cantrell. A vigil in his memory will be held at the crash site at 7:30 p.m. Thursday.
