A man received a tip about who had his stolen dirt bike after posting an ad on Craigslist asking for information.

The vehicle was reportedly stolen out of the back of a pickup truck April 25.

The victim contacted police May 11 saying he posted the ad on Craigslist asking for information about the stolen bike, and received an anonymous call from a man who said someone had tried to sell him the stolen vehicle and where the victim could find it.

Police recovered the dirt bike from an address on Austin Bluffs Parkway, east of Academy Boulevard in Colorado Springs. Police say the suspect didn't live at the address where the stolen dirt bike was found.

An investigation after the bike was recovered resulted in the arrest of 18-year-old Dezmond Tribble.
