A man held up a Colorado Springs fast food restaurant, getting away with an unknown amount of money.
Police are now looking for the suspect.
The armed robbery happened at the Burger King on the 2700 block of South Academy around 6:45 Monday night. Police say the suspect walked in carrying a gun, and went straight to the front counter, where he demanded money from the cash register. After the employees complied, he walked away from the restaurant. No one was injured.
The suspect is described as a white male in his late 20s, 6-foot-2 and 220 pounds, with light blue eyes. He was reportedly dressed head-to-toe in black: black sweatshirt, baggy black pants and a black bandana concealing his face. Police say they have several leads, but no arrest yet.
