A couple walking near downtown Colorado Springs was robbed at gunpoint late Friday evening.
Police say the man and woman were walking near East St. Vrain and North Tejon shortly before midnight when a man approached the couple from behind. The man pulled a handgun on the two and demanded their wallets and jewelry. After taking their valuables, the suspect ran off.
Police are looking for a black man in is early to mid 30s, weighing around 200 pounds. He was wearing a black hoodie, black sweatpants and black shoes.
