A man leads Colorado State Patrol on a chase through the streets of Colorado Springs late Friday night.
Troopers say they attempted to pull the vehicle over shortly after 10 p.m. at Cheyenne Mountain Boulevard and Quail Lake Road.
The Dodge pickup truck stopped briefly and then took off again. Troopers chased the vehicle from Quail Lake to Bayfield Drive. The driver then took Bayfield to Cheyenne Meadows Road and turned on Westmeadow Drive.
At that point, troopers knew they needed to end the chase quickly. They used their patrol cars to perform a tactical maneuver to stop the truck. The maneuver spun the truck around, coming to a stop just north of Academy Boulevard. Officers were then able to take the driver into custody.
The two troopers and the driver of the Dodge truck all suffered minor injuries during the chase.
Troopers found that the driver, who has not yet been identified, was driving on a suspended license. There is no word on what charges that driver faces, but troopers say they found no evidence of drug or alcohol use.
