One man was killed in a single-car rollover this morning.
Police have identified the victim as 77-year-old Raymond G. Lippert of Colorado Springs.
According to police, Lippert was driving a 1986 Toyota pickup truck and rolled into a fence.
A report issued this afternoon by Colorado State Patrol states that Lippert was not wearing his seatbelt at the time of the crash and was ejected from the truck as it overturned. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash happened just after 9 a.m. this morning on Hollman Road and Peyton Highway.
At this time, police do not believe alcohol was a factor. They say Lippert was most likely driving too fast for road conditions at the time.
The crash is still under investigation.
There were several other crashes this morning due to icy road conditions - including one along Highway 85 and B Street and Powers Boulevard at Old Ranch Road.
