A man jumped out of a moving truck during a police chase early Monday morning.
Police said the incident started when they tried to pull over a red truck that had the wrong license plates on it.
Instead of stopping, the driver reportedly took off. Police followed and said the driver slowed near the intersection at Hancock and Fountain in Colorado Springs. That's when the passenger bailed out.
The passenger was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries, according to police.
Police said the truck was stolen out of Pueblo.
The investigation is ongoing.
