An argument escalates at a grocery store parking lot.
On Monday evening El Paso County Deputies were called to the parking lot of the Safeway in Falcon, just east of Colorado Springs.
El Paso County Deputies say there was some kind of fight between a girlfriend and her boyfriend in front of their young child. Authorities say while the woman was driving off her boyfriend started punching her car windshield. He allegedly grabbed onto the car and was then thrown off.
The man had to be flown to a hospital for his injuries. Authorities tell 11 News he will probably be okay.
Deputies tell 11 News the couple was arguing over custody of their child, who saw the whole thing happen. The case remains under investigation.
