Police are searching for a man they say fired a handgun towards a Springs business Tuesday.
The incident happened just after 6:30 p.m. at the Lowe's parking lot on the 4800 block of North Nevada.
Police say a group of people were standing in the parking lot when one of the men pulled out a gun and fired one shot in the direction of the Lowe's. There was no damage to the building, and no one was injured.
The group left the scene before officers got there.
Police describe the suspect as a black man in his early 20s, 5-foot-10 to 6 feet tall with an average build. He was reportedly dressed in all black. Witnesses said the group left the scene in an older-model silver or gray Nissan Pathfinder.
