A Pueblo West man faces attempted murder charges for allegedly assaulting a woman.
According to Pueblo County Sheriff's Office, the woman called 911 early Sunday morning and told dispatch that 44-year-old Christopher Robinson had hit her and then fired a gun at her. Robinson was already gone when deputies arrived at the scene.
Deputies later found Robinson at a home on the 900 block of Camino Pablo Drive and took him into custody. He has been charged with attempted second-degree murder, criminal mischief, menacing, third-degree assault and domestic violence. He's being held without bond at the Pueblo County Detention Center.
The woman's injuries were reportedly non-life threatening; the Sheriff's Office says she refused medical treatment.
