Fountain police are searching for a man who they say exposed himself to a teenage girl on March 7.

It happened near Fortman and Franconia, which is near two schools.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic man in his 20s with blue eyes. He was wearing a gray shirt and blue jeans. He was driving a silver-colored newer sedan.

In a photo released by Fountain police, the suspect vehicle is seen approaching the victim in a residential area.

Investigators told 11 News, if you ever find yourself in that type of situation, the best thing to do is get away as fast as you can.

"Go to a house make as much noise as you can. Secondary to that, get as much description as you can of the person. If they're in a vehicle, (get a) vehicle description, license plate would be great," Sgt. Tim Johnson said.

He added, the teenage girl did the right thing by continuing to walk away from the suspect when he tried to engage her.

If you have any information about the man or what happened, call Fountain police at 719-382-8555 or Crime Stoppers at 634-STOP.
