A Cañon City man has died following a crash involving a parked car.
Robert Stewart, 27, was riding his motorcycle up and down North 5th Street in Cañon City Saturday afternoon. Police say he passed a vehicle and collided with the parked car. The parked car then smashed into a nearby vehicle, causing damage to both.
Stewart was transported to St. Thomas More Hospital in Cañon City, where he later died.
Cañon City police say they suspect speeding as a factor in the crash. Stewart was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
