Colorado Springs police arrested a man accused of vandalizing the El Paso County Courthouse and other county property.

Police say the man smashed out the glass on the south side of the courthouse early Friday morning. He's also accused of smashing the glass door at the El Paso County Attorney's Office building.

He wasn't finished there. Police say he went to the county parking garage on Sahwatch Street, where he broke out another window, then broke out the windshield of a county vehicle. Then police say he sprayed the car inside and out with a fire extinguisher.

Before leaving the parking garage, he damaged the elevator. Police estimate the damages are about $7,000.

Officers were able to identify the suspect and arrested Zachary Pickard, 27, Friday afternoon.
