A FLASH FLOOD WATCH will go into effect on Tuesday afternoon for most of Southern Colorado. Daytime heating and moisture will combine with a disturbance moving through Colorado to develop numerous thunderstorms. Any one of them will be more than capable of producing very heavy rain. Burn scars and areas that have seen recent heavy rain will be under the greatest risk for flash flooding. The 11 Breaking Weather Team will be tracking this threat all day for you.
A man accused of burglarizing several storage units is under arrest.
According to Pueblo police, 47-year-old Phillip Vallejos is being held in the Pueblo County Jail on a parole violation. His bond of $25,000.
Police tell 11 News they suspected Vallejos in a number of recent burglaries at rental storage facilities and the theft of a truck from a auto dealer.
Police say while test driving the vehicle, Vallejos would go to the storage units and allegedly cut off the locks and steal the items inside.
He's charged with several counts of second-degree burglary, possession of burglary tools and auto theft.
