Police arrested a man in downtown Colorado Springs Saturday morning for allegedly making inappropriate contact with a woman while she was incapacitated.
The incident happened just after 2 a.m.
Officers wouldn't elaborate on what the suspect was allegedly doing, but say it happened while officers were distracted by people approaching them to report unrelated crimes.
According to police, officers spotted the suspect with the woman on the 0 block of Tejon. The woman appeared to be in need of medical assistance, and officers said the man appeared to be accompanying her. But when other people in the area started talking to the officers, that's when police say the suspect "began to inappropriately make contact with the female."
The woman was taken to the hospital, while the man was arrested.
