The incident happened last night on Carmel Drive at Westwind Apartments. Investigation by police revealed that Sean Knapp went to his neighbor's apartment with a samurai sword. He then swung the sword at his neighbor's face when the man opened the door.

The victim was able to catch the sword with both hands and wrestle it away. Both men were bleeding extensively.
