Man Arrested After Attacking Neighbor With Samauri Sword

Two men are in the hospital after Sand Creek Officers say one man attacked his neighbor with a samurai sword.

The incident happened last night on Carmel Drive at Westwind Apartments. Investigation by police revealed that Sean Knapp went to his neighbor's apartment with a samurai sword. He then swung the sword at his neighbor's face when the man opened the door.

The victim was able to catch the sword with both hands and wrestle it away. Both men were bleeding extensively.

Both men were transported to Memorial Center for treatment where they are in stable condition and awaiting surgery.

Police arrested Knapp at the scene.
