The man accused of causing an explosion while making hash oil heard his charges for the first time on Monday afternoon.
11 News was there for the advisement hearing.
Lee Brown, 51, faces several drug felony charges, including unlawful distribution of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of a controlled substance, and offenses related to marijuana. He also is charged with reckless endangerment.
He is currently being held on $2,000 bond. His next court date is on March 13.
Dozens of people were evacuated on Saturday night following the explosion at a Colorado Springs apartment complex. Brown admitted to living inside the unit where the explosion occurred.
The explosion happened at an apartment complex on University Drive, near Airport Road.
Investigators say Brown was using a butane fuel that ignited, causing the explosion.
CSPD did not report any injuries.
