Police: Bank Robbery Suspect Was Ready to Hit Another Bank

A man is accused of committing two bank robberies and one attempted bank robbery, all within a week. Police say when he was arrested there was evidence he was getting ready to commit another robbery.

Kurtis Alva, 28, allegedly robbed the Wells Fargo Bank located on Constitution Blvd near Powers in Colorado Springs August 7.

Detectives say Alva is new to Colorado Springs. He has been here for less than a year. Before that, they say he lived in Michigan and Florida.
