A boil order has been lifted for residents Victor and Goldfield.

The order was put in place after untreated water was run through the water system while fire crews fought a large fire. The order is in place as a precaution until the untreated water can be flushed from the system.

Walmart and the Teller County Office of Emergency Management donated bottled water for residents in the area.

Saturday's fire broke out at the Mining Union Hall in Victor around 3:15 p.m. It took fire crews from Victor, Cripple Creek, Divide and Colorado Springs nearly four hours to get it under control.

Crews were primarily concerned with containing the fire and keeping it from spreading to nearby buildings, said Lt. Marc Porcelli of the Teller County Sheriff's Office.

He says lightning may have started the fire.

No one was hurt.
