Several people were arrested early Saturday morning after police broke up a large party in Fountain.
Officers arriving at the home on Calle Entrada found a chaotic scene: several people running away and a 14-year-old lying in the driveway facedown in vomit.
Inside the house, police say they found mostly minors, with several sick from drinking too much. Fountain Fire Department medical personnel were called to assist.
Of the 51 people officers located at the party, police say only three were over 21. Eighteen people were 17 years old or younger. Two people, 36-year-old Margaret Rangel and 26-year-old Lucas Salas, were arrested on charges of contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
Two others located at the party, 18-year-old Quanisha Baros and 21-year-old Jeremy Mondragon, were arrested on outstanding warrants.
Two people, 19-year-old Jayetara Hanato and an unnamed juvenile, were arrested on charges of resisting arrest and disorderly conduct. Hanato also faces charges of third-degree assault on a peace officer and attempting to influence a public servant.
Police remind the public that anyone 21 or older who supplies alcohol to minors could face criminal charges. This is the second time in two days that adults have been arrested at Fountain parties on allegations of doing exactly that.
