A Lamar woman is being charged with second-degree murder and domestic violence.
Marla Abling, 47, has been in custody since Wednesday morning for the death of Rory Alba. Alba, 45, was found dead at an apartment on 805 S. 9th St. in Lamar just after 6:20 a.m. Wednesday.
Abling, who also lives at that address, was taken into custody at the scene. Police say there were suspicious circumstances surrounding his death.
Police are still following leads and ask that anyone with information call the Lamar Police Department at 719-336-4341.
