Three children were hit by a school bus in Tuesday afternoon. CBS4 in Denver is reporting the incident occurred in unincorporated Jefferson County.
Jacki Kelley with the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office said all three of the children were conscious and breathing. She believes the children will be transported to the hospital.
The incident occurred around 3:15 p.m. near Simms and Cross Avenue in unincorporated Jefferson County. Southbound Simms had to be closed for the investigation.
State Patrol was also on the scene.
