Comments allegedly made by students prompted a Colorado Springs school to go on lockdown for a couple of hours Thursday.
Police tell 11 News students reportedly made inappropriate comments about hurting people inside the school. After officers responded to investigate, the school decided to go on lockdown on their own.
It's unknown who the threats were made against--whether it was students or faculty.
The school issued a statement saying that they uncovered a potential concern and went on lockdown as a precaution. The incident happened Thursday morning, and the lockdown was lifted around 1 p.m.
Police say two students associated with the incident were served and released to their parents for a misdemeanor offense of interference with staff, faculty or students of educational institutes.
