James Holmes Court Appearance Delayed Ahead Of Possible Insanity Plea

A court appearance for the accused Aurora theater shooter has been postponed.

James Holmes was expected to enter an insanity plea Friday, but his lawyers asked to have the hearing delayed.

Prosecutors say they don't mind the delay, but are still asking to see the notebook Holmes sent to a psychiatrist before the shooting. They say they're more likely to get access to it if Holmes' insanity plea goes through.

A judge postponed the hearing to Tuesday.
