"Insider Attack" Kills Three in Afghanistan

KABUL, Afghanistan (AP) -- An apparent insider attack has killed three international troops in Afghanistan.

NATO and Afghan officials say man wearing an Afghan National Security Forces uniform turned his weapon on foreign troops at an Afghan base.

NATO hasn't revealed the nationalities of those killed, but today's attack occurred in a part of eastern Afghanistan where all foreign troops are believed to be Americans.

In a statement NATO said officials from the international force are working with Afghan officials in the investigation.
