A federal inmate is believed to have walked away from a minimum security prison camp.

A federal inmate is believed to have walked away from a minimum security prison camp.

According to the Fremont County Sheriff's Office, Aaron Palacios left the facility around 2 p.m. Wednesday. The facility is part of the Uniyed States Penitentiary-Supermax in Florence. Palacios was serving a 120-month sentence for drug charges.

Palacios is white and Hispanic, 6-foot-1 and 240 pounds. He is not considered dangerous or known to be affiliated with gangs.
