A home was hit by gunfire New Year's Eve.

Police said the shot came from Deerfield Hills Park and hit a home on the 3200 block of Monica Drive West. That is near Hancock Expressway and Milton E. Proby Parkway in Colorado Springs.

No one in the home was injured. Police said they searched the area, but no suspect was located.
