Love the Snow? If so, here's a free event you'll really enjoy. El Paso County Parks is hosting "Winterific" at Fox Run Regional Park on Saturday, February 23rd, from noon until 3pm. Enjoy hot chocolate, winter crafts and learn more about Colorado wildlife. There are also guided winter wildlife walks. You don't need a reservation.
Here's a way to enjoy the ice while staying indoors. The Colorado College Hockey Team is holding its annual "Skate with the Tigers" event on Sunday, February 24, from noon until 1:30pm. It's at Sertich Ice Arena in Memorial Park. It's free to get in, but you'll need to rent some skates if you can't bring your own.
Cheyenne Mountain Zoo will hold it's annual Free Electronics Recycling Event on Saturday, Feb. 23th. Take many of your old electronics for safe, free disposal. There are exceptions and some there are fees for some larger items.
