Drivers in southern Colorado had to deal with a lot of water on some roads after heavy rains hit the area. Some reported seeing up to two feet of water in the roadways.
Some roads and lanes were closed because of the flooding. In pueblo, N. Purcell Blvd. was closed from N. Platteville Blvd E. to Challenger Dr. E. Platteville Blvd. was closed at Raymont Dr. and N. States Ave. They reopened at 6 a.m. Sunday.
In Security-Widefield driver told 11 News that they say up to two feet of water on the roads in some places.
Police in Colorado Springs said some lanes did have to be closed because of the flooding. There were also a few accidents, but police say none of them had serious injuries.
