The Pueblo Health Department is encouraging its employees to live a more active lifestyle by biking or walking to work.

The Health Department received a two-year, $32,000 grant to fund the program.

The money can be used to purchase bicycles and equipment, fund incentives to encourage employees to walk or bicycle during the work day, and conduct bicycle safety courses.

The money is being provided by Kaiser Permanente Colorado.
