The nightmare continues for the grieving town still reeling from Friday's shocking massacre at an elementary school.

Seven funerals have been scheduled so far for victims in the Newtown, Conn. shooting--and in all but one, the person being laid to rest is no older than 7 years old.

Monday, 6-year-olds Noah Pozner and Jack Pinto will be buried, followed by a funeral for 6-year-old Jessica Rekos Tuesday. Daniel Barden 7, and teacher Victoria Soto, 27, will be held Wednesday.

Soto died trying to shield her students from gunfire.

A service will be held on Thursday for 6-year-old Catherine Hubbard. A private service has been planned for 6-year-old Dylan Hockley, no date announced.

Twenty-seven people total were killed Friday; 26 at Sandy Hook Elementary School and the suspect's mother at a home in town. The gunman, who authorities have identified as Adam Lanza, killed himself, bringing the death toll to 28. Twenty of those victims were children between the ages of 6 and 7 years old.

Officials Friday's carnage could have been even worse; the gunman was reportedly carrying hundreds of rounds of ammunition, enough to kill just about every student in the school if given time.
