A 15-year-old girl says she was approached by a stranger as she walked home from school.

The incident happened at 3:45 p.m. on Iron Horse Drive. The girl is a student at Doherty High School in Colorado Springs.

According to police, the girl reported that a man in a white truck pulled up next to her and asked if she wanted a ride. The girl said she refused and was able to get away.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male in his late 30s or early 40s. He was reportedly driving a white Ford pickup truck. CSPD says this does not appear to be the same suspect as the one accused of asking young girls to watch a sex act. That suspect has a different description and is reportedly driving a maroon truck.
