A giant storm slowly moved across Southern Colorado Thursday, dumping as much as five inches of rain.

Fountain Creek rose several feet and went out of its banks in places like Crystola and Green Mountain Falls. By the time the water reached Manitou Springs and Old Colorado City it stayed in its banks but rose several feet.

Voyager Parkway and parts of I-25 north of Woodmen Road closed in Colorado Springs because of severe flooding. There were reports of at least two water rescues.

Black Forest saw very heavy rain as well, closing down several different roads in and out of the area. 11 News received multiple reports of serious road damage in Black Forest, but Black Forest Road is still open and safe to travel.

Another powerful storm impacted eastern Pueblo to Avondale and Boone. Extremely heavy rain caused flash flooding and closed part of Highway 50 in both directions near Boone.

There is a report that one house may have been lost in Avondale.
