Updated: 06/18/2013 - We did a quick helicopter tour of the Black Forest burn area. Someone asked why the video looks shaky.
Fort Carson has reopened Gate 1 after a suspicious package shut it down.
The gate was shut down for more than two hours while a bomb squad investigated the contents of the package. The package was found by a maintenance crew lying near the gate.
No explosives were found inside the package, but investigators are still trying to determine who left it by the base.
