Workers have been allowed back on a construction site after being evacuated for a gas leak.

The gas leak occurred after a construction company hit a natural gas line late Tuesday morning. Our crew on scene says the line has been pinched off, and utilities workers are making repairs. The evacuation was lifted just around 12:30 p.m., 45 minutes after crews first responded.

The gas line was on a construction site at Centennial and Fillmore in Colorado Springs.
