Colorado Springs police are investigating an armed robbery at the GameStop located at 1580 Space Center Dr.

A black man in his 20s went into the business just before 9 p.m. on Thursday, showed a handgun, and demanded cash.

According to police, the man was wearing a black sweater, gray sweat pants, and had a black bandana over his face. The suspect was about 6 feet tall with a heavy build.

He fled the scene with some cash, possibly, police said, in a dark-colored late model Honda sedan. The store employee was not injured.

It was the same GameStop targeted earlier this week, when a truck backed into the store's front doors. Nothing was taken. Police have not said if the two incidents are related.

If you know who may be responsible for either incident, call Crime Stoppers at 634-STOP. You can remain anonymous. Your tip could earn a cash reward.

Dear Law Enforcement: While you are over in that area investigating, please check out the beggars that hang around there in the shadows. You know the ones. ALWAYS pressuring people for spare change (and follow you until you threaten to scream and attract attention) and urinating in public near the bridge over the creek area behind this center. Thank you kindly.

Game Stop is a horrible place to rob. Everyone goes in there paying with a credit card. When I worked as a teller, they would come in with $100 in cash for a deposit at most.

Uhm, absolutely not Renegade, because no doubt the company has a policy of prohibiting employees carrying weapons of any kind at work. Which is pretty much a policy that every corporation in this entire country has in some form! I could go into about half a dozen more reasons as to why your argument is flawed really beyond reason, but I don't want to spend the time and energy.
