Hair stylists in southern Colorado broke out the scissors for a good cause Saturday.
Paul Mitchell School and Security Service Federal Credit Union on Fort Carson teamed up to raise money for the Gary Sinise foundation.
The fundraiser offered $5.00 professional haircuts.
The Foundation supports veterans, first responders and their families with a variety of programs including: Rise, which supports those who have been severely wounded, the Relief and Resiliency Outreach, which helps "our nation's defenders" and their families after a trauma or loss, and many others.
All proceeds from the fundraiser went to the Gary Sinise Foundation.
