The Fremont County Sheriff's Office is seeking the public's assistance in locating one of their county's "most wanted."
John Warn, 33, is wanted on a $10,000 felony drug warrant.
Captain Don Pinover, a spokesman with the Sheriff's Office, says Warn's name has floated around as a possible suspect in a disturbance Friday night, and then again as a suspect who ran from Canon City police Saturday. Pinover says Warn is not an official suspect in either case, and reiterates that he is currently just wanted on the drug warrant.
Pinover says Warn's name is one of several associated with the home where the disturbance took place Friday, but that there is no confirmation that he was there or involved. In the Saturday incident, which occurred when police tried stopping a car leaving the aforementioned home, Pinover says Warn's name was brought up as possibly being the suspect that ran, but that police never located the runner and have no evidence at this time that it was Warn.
Warn is described as a white male, 6-foot-3 and 200 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes. If you have any information on his whereabouts, you are asked to call the Sheriff''s Office at 719-784-3411 or Crime Stoppers at 719-275-STOP.
