After snowfall along the I-25 corridor Sunday be on the lookout for slick road conditions tonight and during your Monday morning commute. Some areas picked up several inches of snow through the day and, while additional snowfall is not expected to continue, snow packed and wet roadways will freeze overnight as temperatures drop into the teens. Bundle up and take it slow as you head out on the roads. Click on the 'Weather' tab for more...
Colorado transportation officials are pointing parents to an online resource aimed at limiting the risks associated with teen driving.
The Colorado Department of Transportation and the Colorado Teen Driving Alliance say the free online course for parents focuses on enforcing safe driving practices and limiting distractions.
The course was created after a Colorado Department of Public Health survey showed only 6.4 percent of 700 parents of teens throughout Colorado could accurately identify components of the graduated driver licensing law.
The law reportedly covers curfew times, seat belt usage, the number of passengers allowed and a ban on all cellphone use.
