A man is recovering in the hospital after being shot multiple times Friday night.
Fountain police have obtained a warrant for the arrest of the suspected gunman, 31-year-old Tabuari Bell. Police say he should be considered armed and dangerous. Bell is wanted on first-degree assault charges.
Officers found the victim just after 10 p.m. upon arriving at a home on 500 Harvest Moon Road near downtown Fountain, where they had been dispatched on a shots fired call. Despite being shot several times, the victim's injuries were not life-threatening. He is currently in stable condition at an area hospital.
Officer and a K-9 unit searched the area for the suspect, but were unable to find him. They ask that anyone with information on Bell's whereabouts call the Fountain Police Department immediately. That number is 382-8555.
