Fort Carson Bomb Threat False Alarm, PX Reopened

A PX on Fort Carson was evacuated Thursday morning after a bomb threat was received.

After investigating the building, the Fort Carson Fire Department declared the building clear at 11 a.m., and reopened the PX for business. The building was evacuated at 8 a.m.

A spokeswoman with Fort Carson said that it is not known whether the threat was called, written or verbalized to someone.

A PX is an on-base shopping center.
