FORT CARSON, Colo. (AP) - About 100 soldiers who were serving in Kuwait returned to Fort Carson early Sunday morning.
They were among about 2,500 soldiers from the 2nd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division who were deployed in September and will be the last from the combat team to return to Fort Carson.
The soldiers partnered with the Kuwaiti Armed Forces to help with security cooperation, joint exercises and training. Their homecoming ceremony was held at the Special Events Center on post at 5 a.m. Sunday.
