Highway 24 Reopens Following Flash Flood Warning

Heavy rain threatening the Waldo Canyon burn scar forced Highway 24's closure Tuesday night.

The closure started around 6:30 p.m. after a flash flood warning went into effect. It stretched from Manitou Springs to Cascade

The flash flood warning expired shortly before 8 p.m., and the road was reopened.
