Neighbors jumped into action Saturday morning after an explosion set fire to a home in Colorado Springs.
Wallace Williams saw what looked to be a cloud of steam rising from his neighbor's home on 5080 Harvest Road. When Williams realized it was fire, he pounded on the door, hoping to alert anyone who might be home.
Getting no response, Williams ran back across the street to his home, grabbed his fire extinguisher and started back toward the fire.
That's when the fire exploded.
Firefighters say no one was home at the time of the fire and there were no injuries.
There has not been an official cause to the explosion as firefighters work to learn more about the fire.
Williams is just glad to have neighbors as aware and involved as he has on Harvest Road.
